Sometimes it feels like I've wasted half a lifetime,
spent so many years without you in my life.
This wasn't living, it was waiting,
a long wait for you to appear.
But I suppose this was meant to be,
meant to happen right now.
Our life together has just begun,
the future awaits us,
covered in golden light and filled with hopes and dreams.
My hope for us is for our love to grow stronger and stronger,
that we shall grow both as individuals and as one soul in two bodies.
My dream is sharing the rest of my life with you,
as your best friend,
lover
and greatest supporter ever.
If you asked me to get the moon for you
I would surely try my very hardest
maybe I'd even succeed?
